Formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded human prostate tissue stained for Atg16L1 using 59470 at 1/100 dilution in immunohistochemical analysis.
Immunocytochemistry/ Immunofluorescence Atg16L1 antibody (59470)

ICC/IF staining of Atg16L1 in 293T cells. Cells were fixed with 4% Paraformaldehyde permeabilized with 0.1% Triton X-100.
Samples were incubated with 59470 at a working dilution of 1/100. The secondary antibody was Alexa Fluor® 647 goat anti rabbit, used at a dilution of 1/500.
Nuclei were counterstained with DAPI.
Plays an essential role in autophagy: interacts with ATG12-ATG5 to mediate the conjugation of phosphatidylethanolamine (PE) to LC3 (MAP1LC3A, MAP1LC3B or MAP1LC3C), to produce a membrane-bound activated form of LC3 named LC3-II. Thereby, controls the elongation of the nascent autophagosomal membrane.
