Formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded human colon cancer tissue stained for LOXL2 using 59581 at 1/100 dilution in immunohistochemical analysis.
Immunocytochemistry/ Immunofluorescence LOXL2 antibody (59581)

ICC/IF staining of LOXL2 in Hela cells. Cells were fixed with 4% Paraformaldehyde permeabilized with 0.1% Triton X-100.
Samples were incubated with 59581 at a working dilution of 1/100. The secondary antibody was Alexa Fluor® 488 goat anti rabbit, used at a dilution of 1/500.
Nuclei were counterstained with DAPI.

Mediates the post-translational oxidative deamination of lysine residues on target proteins leading to the formation of deaminated lysine (allysine). When secreted in extracellular matrix, promotes cross-linking of extracellular matrix proteins by mediating oxidative deamination of peptidyl lysine residues in precursors to fibrous collagen and elastin.
