Formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded human lung cancer tissue stained for DDB1 using 59845 at 1/100 dilution in immunohistochemical analysis.
Immunocytochemistry/ Immunofluorescence DDB1 antibody (59845)

ICC/IF staining of DDB1 in Hela cells. Cells were fixed with 4% Paraformaldehyde permeabilized with 0.1% Triton X-100.
Samples were incubated with 59845 at a working dilution of 1/100. The secondary antibody was Alexa Fluor® 488 goat anti rabbit, used at a dilution of 1/500.
Nuclei were counterstained with DAPI.
Required for DNA repair. Binds to DDB2 to form the UV-damaged DNA-binding protein complex (the UV-DDB complex). The UV-DDB complex may recognize UV-induced DNA damage and recruit proteins of the nucleotide excision repair pathway (the NER pathway) to initiate DNA repair.
