Formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded human testis tissue stained for Methionine Aminopeptidase 2 using 59862 at 1/100 dilution in immunohistochemical analysis.
Immunocytochemistry/ Immunofluorescence Methionine Aminopeptidase 2 antibody (59862)

ICC/IF staining of Methionine Aminopeptidase 2 in NIH/3T3 cells. Cells were fixed with 4% Paraformaldehyde permeabilized with 0.1% Triton X-100.
Samples were incubated with 59862 at a working dilution of 1/100. The secondary antibody was Alexa Fluor® 488 goat anti rabbit, used at a dilution of 1/500.
Nuclei were counterstained with DAPI.
Cotranslationally removes the N-terminal methionine from nascent proteins. The N-terminal methionine is often cleaved when the second residue in the primary sequence is small and uncharged (Met-Ala-, Cys, Gly, Pro, Ser, Thr, or Val).
